Bigfoot Networks FIFA Cup

If you played FIFA 09 then you should remember our cups series, well this is the first step of what can come.  Excello joined hands with BIGFOOT NETWORKS to give you, FIFA 10 PC gamers, a good chance to train and test your skill.

Playing your favourite game is always fun, adding prizes just makes it a lot better! In this cup you can win a great prize, a Killer™ 2100 (1º place) given by BIGFOOT NETWORKS.

The signups are open (just check our tournament area, here).
There will be 32 to 64 slots available and the Cup Format will be published based on the amount of players checked in.

More information/details about the rules will be given in the following days, but expect the usual FIFA 10 PC rules. The tournament will be held at #Excello.fifa @ Quakenet.

Excello is looking for tournament admins!

After the rebranding of Excello we have been doing our best to host tournaments in various European countries. So far these tournaments have been a great success and we'd like to expand into new games and more tournaments!

Excello has some great prizes to offer the community and we would like to see you guys winning them! However for tournaments to take place we need tournament admins and for this reason we announcing new tournament admin positions.

You may have seen our tournaments in Portugal, Sweden, Romania and Poland so far. If you want these tournaments to come to your country, or you want to see them happen more often - take the initiative! Excello is looking for tournament admins for Counter-Strike 1.6, Counter Strike: Source, Team Fortress 2, Quake Live, Warsow and Heroes of Newerth.

Tournament admins will have to be self-motivated to hold tournaments and will need to know how to work with a group of people. Past experience is preferred but in no way required. For those who on a consistent basis can organize successful tournaments there are many perks. So don't hesitate and apply for a position today: alberto.duarte@excello.net

IceFrog reveal more information for 6.68

In his new post, IceFrog launched new information on map 6.68. He reveals that in the new version.

New items, new heroes and of course the all important balance changes will be ready soon.

1 - Captains Mode: A new ban and pick system is ready for

- CM in 6.68. Instead of 4 bans and then 5 picks, now it is 3 bans and then 3 picks followed by 2 bans and 2 picks.

2 - A new basic item, Orb of Venom.

3 - Tiny with a new ability he gains from Aghanim's Scepter.

4 - Kinetic Field,an ability on one of the new heroes

Na'Vi won Arbalet Cup Dallas

Ukrainian team, Natus Vincere won Arbalet Cup Dallas. In the grand final Na'Vi defeated mousesports. First map, de_nuke was very aligned. German team was very close to score this map. Extra time decided who will win this map. And it was Na'Vi. Then game moved to dust2, where Ukrainians won half time 8:7. After changed sides, mouz tried pick up some round, but markeloff and c.o. prevent them to, and Natus Vincere won map 16:12.

2. mousesports - 15 000 USD

3. Evil Geniuses - 10 000 USD

 

Ten thousands dollars goes Evil Geniuses, who took third place. Next tournament will be played in Bilbao. Of course, I'm talking about GameGune 2010.
