Counter-Strike

The GameGune organization has announced that a qualifier will be held in Matosinhos, Portugal for the GameGune 2010 tournament in Bilbao, Spain.

This will not be the first time that GameGune will host such a qualifier in Portugal. Last year we saw a similar tournament with great results.

The tournament will have a few online qualifiers to determine which teams in Portugal will be worthy to attend the main national qualifier on LAN in Matosinhos, Portugal. The main qualifier will be held at the CJM LAN House from July 10 - July 11.

The winner of the tournament will receive a ticket as well as paid expenses to the main GameGune tournament in Bilbao, Spain. Although still unclear, it looks like the second and third place teams will also earn a spot in Spain, although their expenses will not be paid. k1ck, exotic, and phantoms have received direct invites to the LAN event as they attended the main event in Bilbao last year.

GameGune 2010 will take place in Bilbao, Spain from July 22 - July 24. The tournament will be hosted at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre and will feature a prize pool of 22,500 EUR for Counter-Strike 1.6.
