Fnatic eventually were defeated by SK Gaming in this weekend. SK did it in a very important match, in the IOL FINAL4 Season 2 final.

The winners of IOL FINAL4 Season 2 are SK after they defeated fnatic with 2-0 in the final. They claimed the entire prize of $8,950 and 5 HP laptops.

This weekend the teams met three times and fnatic won both matchups yesterday; 2-0 in the WCG Sweden final and 2-1 in IOL groupstage. This match started same as the the last match, with SK winning the first map very closely, this time on de_dust2 16-13. Although the first half ended 10-5 in favor of fnatic, SK managed to get what proved to be the crucial last two rounds as CT. Fnatic tried to hold on to their lead in the second half, but the score ended 13-11 for fnatic. SK was able to control and win the match by taking all of the remaining five rounds.

The second map was controlled by SK after they won T-Side with a 14-1 margin after they saw there's something wrong with Fnatic's de_inferno defenses today as FairFrag too managed 12 rounds against them earlier. Fnatic opened up the second half with relative desire, taking five rounds straight, but it was merely a matter of time before SK picked up the two required rounds to secure the win to end the match at 16-6 in their favor.
