Excello.net is proud to presents its first cup in starcraft 2 along with our partner Bigfoot Networks.

Information:

Only players with EU ID can participate

Rules of competition
1. General
1.1 Bigfoot SC2 cup is a StarCraft II 1on1 tournament. All participants must have a valid StarCraft II account to participate.
1.2 All participants is obligated to enter their Battle.net account in the excello profile.
1.3 Only players from the EU server is allowed to participate in the tournaments because of the Battle.net restrictions.
1.4 From the semi-finals all matches must have at least one excello representative present. If a game is started without a representative the match will be forfeit and a rematch arranged.
1.5 All players should, but are not obligated to, idle in #excello on Quakenet (IRC)

2. Tournament
2.1 The Bigfoot StarCraft II cup is played as a single elimination mode with the "best of one" system.
2.2 The semi-finals and the final is played as a "best of three". The first map is determined before the tournament start and after that it is the losers choice. A map can only be played once in each round.
2.3 The tournament is played via Battle.net.
2.4 The match is ready to start when both players are ready. If any problems occur please inform your opponent and a tournament admin.
2.5 If a match is unable to start because of unforeseen reasons an admin has to be consulted. If a player is offline an admin needs to be contacted. If a player doesn't show up a default win will be given to the opponent after 10 minutes.
2.6 When a match is finished, the loser is obligated to report his defeat on the website or to an admin. If he doesn't do so within 15 minutes he will be punished.

3. Hosts
3.1 One of the players can host.
3.2 In certain circumstances a neutral host can be picked.
3.3 If the host picks a wrong map, the match will be replayed. In case both players agreed on the map an admin will force a rematch.

4. Coverage
4.1 Every player is obligated to submit all replays to simon.petersen@excello.net atleast 24 hours after the tournament.
4.2 By participating in the Bigfoot StarCraft II Cup, you agree that all replays can be distributed to our coverage partners.

5. Cheats & bans
5.1 The use of cheats, maphacks or any other third party tool is forbidden and will result in an immediate disqualification from the current tournament and may result in future bans as well.
5.2 It is not allowed to listen to shoutcasts of your own games during a match.
5.3 If a player is banned in another tournament, he / she might also be barred in Bigfoot StarCraft II if valid arguments are given.

6. Punishment
6.1 Disrespectful behavior or delay of the tournament will be punished immediately.
6.2 Disrespectful behavior towards the excello staff or an opponent will not be tolerated and may result in disqualification.

7. Maps

8. Replays
8.1 As stated in 4.1 all replays must be sent to Simon.petersen@excello.net.
8.2 If a player fails to submit all replays, he or she will forfeit their finishing position in the tournament.

9. Disconnects
9.1 In case of a disconnect within the first 4 minutes of a game, it will be restarted , if there weren't any contact between the players. A staff member can be contacted if the problem occurs frequently. In the re game the players must select the same races as in the first match.
9.2 If a player disconnects after the 4 minutes mark, it is up to the opponent to decide if the game is to be restarted. A staff member needs to be informed!
9.2.1 If the disconnected player obviously won the game, the replay must be submitted to a staff member. He / she will then decide if there is a re game or not.

10. Referees
10.1 All players are obligated to follow the instructions of the staff members.
10.2 All protests are to be reported to the staff members only.
10.3 Any breach of the rules might result in a default loss or maybe even a disqualification.
10.4 The Bigfoot StarCraft II cup rules can be edited or expanded by the organizers at any point. The present staff member can change, modify or reinterpret the ruleset at their own discretion

11. Prize distribution
The player finishing first in the cup will get the prize which were announced before the tournament start. The winning player is obligated to send all information needed for shipping means at least 48 hours after the tournament has finished.
